ESPN's SEC bias or anti-Big Ten bias seems to be coming through loud and clear as an SEC Network host claimed 9 SEC college football teams play at least 5 Top 25 teams from this week's Coaches Poll.  He also FALSELY claimed ZERO Big Ten football teams played at least 5 Top 25 teams.  Actually 8 Big Ten football teams have at least 5 Top 25 teams on their 2026 college football schedules.  And Michigan and Ohio State face 6!  Needless to say we set the record straight.

Notre Dame's Marcus Freeman already has the Wisconsin Badgers in his cross-hairs for their season opener.  Lincoln Riley is still dialing in the USC Trojans future football schedule in light of their recent agreement to resume the Notre Dame series.  And Indiana football gets a pleasant surprise as former defensive lineman Stephen Daley is coming back for a 5th year!

The USC vs Notre Dame football rivalry is back on beginning in 2030!  Ironically, Indiana requested Notre Dame football drop the Hoosiers from the 2030 and 2031 schedule thus opening the dates for the Trojans and Fighting Irish to resume their 100-year rivalry.  However this is a big risk for Lincoln Riley and USC football since they are a borderline playoff team and the exposure to a possible loss to Notre Dame in addition to their rugged Big Ten football schedule could make things challenging.

We lay out the pros and cons of playing this game  but college football fans should be excited the USC - Notre Dame Rivalry has been revived!  And, who knows?  With one more blast of Big Ten conference expansion and realignment this could be a conference game by 2030!
