UNSOLVED: MMIW Tina Fontaine
From birth the cards were stacked against Tina but she fought hard to overcome all the hurdles and obstacles that she faced. But after the loss of her father at just 12-years-old her life started on a downward spiral. Tina was failed her entire life by the system in Canada and many interventions could've been done to save her.
In August 2014, 15-year-old Tina's body would be pulled from the Red River. Someone would be arrested of her murder, but then found not guilty.
