In Fright Bites – EP00: The Woman on the Path, a chilling true ghost story unfolds inside a locked botanical garden during a winter evening patrol. A teenage witness accompanies his father, a security officer, as they carry out their routine checks, locking gates and ensuring no visitors remain inside the park. As darkness settles, a torch beam catches sight of an elderly woman walking slowly along the path ahead.

They call out to her, explaining the gates are locked and offering to escort her out. She does not respond. As they move quickly to catch up, she rounds a bend in the path — and disappears completely. The pair search every path and clearing, but the woman is gone without a trace. In Tour Haunts – Leeds Part 2, we continue exploring one of the UK’s most haunted cities, uncovering chilling true ghost stories, real paranormal encounters, and haunted locations steeped in tragedy, folklore, and unexplained phenomena.
