Clara, a Canadian filmmaker, has a brief encounter with a timid man at a small French film festival and soon moves on with her life. Months later, he unexpectedly reaches out, eventually asking for feedback on his script. Happy to support and connect with a fellow artist, she agrees to a call and then to a meet-up, only to find herself drawn into an increasingly prolonged and threatening situation.
