Obi-Wan Kenobi Season 2 is rumored to be in the works now.
I believe if they use the script and story from Stuart Beattie, they will knock it out of the park. Ewan McGregor and Hayden Christensen returning is always wanted by the fandom, however HOW they are brought back into Star Wars is what is even more important.

The Mandalorian and Grogu was made to put a movie out that stands alone and isn't tied to anything else in the overall story.
That was the intention. I think it's fine, however to be the first film in 7 years after how Mandalorian Season 2 took us to such great heights, then crashed them in Season 3, then gave us this film, seems a bit of a pointless Star Wars roller coaster ride to me.

I was fine with Mandalorian and Grogu, but I am tired of them making stuff that's so surface level. It's time to get into the lore, stay consistent, and make something really moving like George Lucas - THAT MATTERS to the overall story. We've gotten enough inconsequential stories, time to get something actually meaningful after the poorly planned Star Wars Sequel trilogy.

Dave Filoni, during a Mandalorian and Grogu interview with Jon Favreau, mentions the World Between Worlds and how it doesn't work as time travel or grants the ability to meddle with events. If this is the case, then I don't understand how the WBW works, considering Ezra, in Star Wars Rebels, pulled and saved Ahsoka from Darth Vader through the portal in the World Between Worlds.
