As we wrap up this week, Paul communicates that the Gospel is not only words, but it is with power, the Holy Spirit and conviction. Today we as ourselves if we truly have experienced the power of the Gospel and if we believe that the Gospel is power.

Today we see how Paul intentionally speaks into the identity of those he is writing to by telling them that are beloved and chosen. We ask the Holy Spirit to help us live in that reality today.

Not only were the Thessalonians known for their faith and love but ultimately through hope. We reflect on how hope does not disappoint us and how hope gives us a perspective of eternity.

As we continue in 1 Thessalonians, we see how the Thessalonians were known not only for their faith but also for their labor that was motivated and prompted by love. We reflect on how we can grow in love in our own lives.

This week we dive into 1 Thessalonians 1. We hear Paul writing to the Church after only spending three weeks teaching and staying with them before being persecuted. We ask the Holy Spirit to help us be known for our works produced by faith.
