Burning Hearts with Rachel Herbeck

As we follow in Jesus’ footsteps of discipleship, we have to accept the cross of Christ. In accepting our crosses with joy, the places in our hearts that need to be purified experience purification.

We have new life within us, but at times it doesn’t break through. The first step to activating the new life within us is to surrender to God’s will.

As we continue to discuss John 12, we see how Jesus is the grain of wheat that falls to the ground and dies. It is through his life, death, and resurrection that we have new life within us.

This week we dive into John 12 where Jesus tells us that a grain of wheat must fall to the ground and die. We begin to see how Jesus thinks of the Kingdom of God and how He wants us to value what He values.

After he is healed, the man simply shares what Jesus did for him. Today we are convicted to just simply share what God has done in our lives as a place of testimony and leading thers to Christ.
