September 21st: Westgate Mall Attack in Africa (2013)

A group banning together for a common goal can be both horrifying and heartwarming. On September 21st 2013 four men walked into a mall in Africa and, together, committed a truly heinous massacre. But, on the other side of that, were groups of civilians who, coming together with their own common goal, saved countless lives in the midst of absolute chaos.

September 20th: Andrew Vrba Confesses to Murder (2017)

Finding your group of friends, the ones who make you feel fully accepted, is a truly wonderful thing. Or, at least, it should be. On September 20th 2017 a young man confessed to murdering a friend who truly thought she had found that group.
