March 8th: Amberly Mendoza’s Last Day Alive (1996)
We assume we are safe inside our homes. Especially as children. Our homes, and our bedrooms, should feel like the safest places on earth. On March 8th 1996 a young girl went to bed inside her room and lost her life in the place where she should have felt safe.
