My Morning Devotional

Could one small sentence be creating a much bigger fire than you realize?
In today’s episode, Lauren Alessi Burgos continues through James 3:5–8 and explores the powerful warning that our words can be like a spark that sets an entire forest on fire. Together, we’ll reflect on how quickly careless words, harsh reactions, or speaking without wisdom can create conflict and affect the direction of our lives.
We’ll be challenged to recognize that controlling our words isn’t something we can accomplish through our own strength alone. Instead, God invites us to submit our speech to His wisdom and righteousness, learning when to speak and when to hold our tongue.
