Boomer & Gio

Gio's on vacation so it's Boomer & Jerry. We spent the morning talking about a lot of different things including Boomer having fun at the Norway World Cup match, the controversy surrounding President Trump influencing a red card call, & England beating Mexico. The attention turned to the Mets and what they need to do to right the ship and is shipping big names off the right choice. We didn't neglect talking about the Yanks and their recent struggles. LeBron got a segment of the show as we discussed where he might end up at the age of 41. All this and C-Lo's updates too.

It's Boomer & Jerry today with Gio on vacation. We start the show with Boomer's fun time at the Norway match. We also talk about tthe controversy over a, for now, reversed red card suspension of a USA player after President Trump got involved. C-Lo recaps all the World Cup action, sets up the USA-Belgium match for tonight, and brings us the head-shaking weekend for New York baseball as the Yankees are limping towards the All-Star break. The hour ends with talk about hot weather & that Taylor-Travis wedding.

We start this hour with a good talk about where the Mets are and perhaps some harsh medicine the team needs to move forward, including trading some big names. I mean BIG. C-Lo pops in to guide Yankees fans through the team's dismal weekend. He shifts to the Mets and we know what they're about. England beats Mexico and the Brits go nutsoid happy. Finally, we take some calls on various things of interest to you folks.

The hour begins with Jerry having watched an old Bengals-Steelers Monday night game and Boomer helps break down how they won it. C-Lo has the tough job of telling us again how the Mets are awful and the Yankees are sliding, mixed in with Boomer & Jerry's comments about the teams and lollipops and such.

We spend most of the start of the hour talking about LeBron James and where he might end up and who'd want him there. C-Lo pops in to give us some Boone audio regarding Yanks. The intern gets put in the spotlight by Boomer because that's what Boomer does. There's even some golf talk featuring the Senior Open which took place this past weekend.
