Serving is about humility, even when we feel overlooked. Leadership in the kingdom of God is different than leadership in the world. Service is like the heartbeat of spiritual maturity. If the son of God can humble himself to serve, then we can too. The way that Jesus is demonstrating this, he's literally modeling the behavior that he wants them to do. Am I serving in a way that reflects him? Jesus shows us what true humility actually looks like. Our influence flows from service. It's a practical invitation to live out your faith.
