- In October 2016, a South Korean businessman named Jee Ick-Joo was forcefully taken from his home in Angeles City, only for him to never be seen again. From the outside, this seemed like a brutal case of kidnapping, or maybe even a targeted attack from business rivals.
But what made this murder more chilling wasn't how Jee was abducted or killed, but the fact that it took place within Camp Crame; the National Police Headquarters of the Philippines. Because this was the bloody era of President Duterte's anti-drug campaign, and once they have you on their list, you may never come home again.
Part 1: We explore circumstances surrounding the Philippines in the Duterte era, and why anti-drug officers specifically targeted Jee Ick-Joo.
Part 2: We follow the public fallout once the case was made public, and navigate the tricky legal battle to bring justice to an innocent man who was abducted and murdered by the police.

And for nearly seventeen years, that reputation served as the perfect disguise... until his true horrors were brought to the surface.
The country was shocked when the mutilated remains of a young boy was discovered in 2010, leading investigators to uncover a disturbing pattern of exploitation and violence that had gone on for far too long.
Part 1: We explore the conditions that allowed Baekuni "Babe" to develop into the monster that he would eventually become, and how he managed to remain undetected through nearly 2 decades.
Part 2: We follow investigators as they pick up on the discovery of the young boy's mutilated body parts, and witness Indonesia reckon with the fact that they allowed such a monster to roam their streets for so long.

The shutters to the local family owned gold shop hadn't gone up. No one had seen the owner make his usual rounds. And when someone finally forced their way in, they found a scene that would haunt the nation for years: a husband, a wife, and even their infant daughter, all slaughtered.
And in another room, an eight-year-old girl, barely breathing, her arm severed at the joint. She was the only witness. She was also, somehow, still alive.
Part 1: We take you through the horrific events of the Ngọc Bích gold shop slaughter as it unfolded, and profile the monster behind the brutal crime.
Part 2: We follow along with officers as they trace down the murderer, Lê Văn Luyện. Along the way, we'll also discover the complications that arguably prevented commensurate justice from being served in this case.
