We start off by covering a story showing that over 90% of people using cannabis for mental health issues say it has worked great for them. We then move on to a story claiming that cannabis-induced rage caused a man to beat his 92-year-old friend to death... even though the man had a long history of violent convictions. Guess which of those stories was covered by the mainstream media?!

Margaret tells us about the banning of CBN in Japan, and we discuss how that could affect THC, considering CBN is essentially a degraded form of THC. John brings a story about changes to gun ownership forms in the USA, arguing that with cannabis being rescheduled, restrictions on medical cannabis patients may no longer be appropriate. Finally, Smee tells us about three men in the UK who have been jailed for growing cannabis.

In this week’s episode, we wrap up Season 2 of Grow Guides with a relaxed but important conversation about the reality of growing cannabis at home, and why it’s nowhere near as complicated as many people think.

We give a simple overview of the growing process from seed to harvest, touching on the key stages growers need to understand while also reminding listeners that perfection is not required to grow good cannabis. Too many new growers get overwhelmed by information online, worrying about every little detail before they’ve even planted a seed.

The truth is, cannabis wants to grow. Most of the learning comes from actually getting started, making mistakes, and improving one grow at a time. We talk about building confidence, keeping things simple, and not being afraid to jump in and learn through experience.

It’s a positive and encouraging end to the season, aimed especially at newer growers who might still be sitting on the fence about starting their first grow.

This week we spoke with Dan, a cannabis activist from the UK. Dan has some interesting ideas that he believes could help push the UK government towards legalising cannabis for recreational use. He is part of an organisation called Legal Grower UK, and we chat with him about his ideas, what he thinks is going to work, what he sees for the future of cannabis in the UK, and much more.

We have some propaganda as usual, where it is claimed medical cannabis can turn deadly if its not properly regulated! Ridiculous! Also, we see evidence that cannabis can help reduce obesity, regardless of the stereotypical Munches it gives us. Police in the UK defend their actions of taking down a cannabis grow, amongst backlash from social media messages. The UK has imported over 30 tonnes of cannabis form Canada! And some USA cannabis company is making it harder for new people to join the industry!
