The Minnesota Timberwolves bounced back as they headed to the west coast to kick off a three-game road trip in Portland, where defeated on a Trail Blazers team missing stars Deni Avdija (back) and Shaedon Sharpe (calf) by a score of 124-121 behind a combined 63 points from Anthony Edwards and Jaden McDaniels.

Rudy Gobert added a double-double of 10 points and a season-high 19 rebounds in his return from a one-game suspension, while Donte DiVincenzo made five of Minnesota's 17 3-pointers in an important divisional win.
