Dialogue with EU over tariffs still on the cards, says US State Department
Washington is still prepared to negotiate with the EU over tariffs, US deputy spokesperson Mignon Houston told Euronews' Shona Murray in an exclusive interview featured on Radio Schuman today.The EU is expected to approve a plan today to impose 25% tariffs on a broad range of US goods in response to the United States' earlier duties on steel and aluminium imports.Earlier this week, US President Trump reaffirmed his intention to maintain global tariffs, despite recent volatility in international financial markets.
