Liam Rondi on Collective Action, Transphobia & Breaking Ofcom Records

    23/07/2026 | 51min
Liam Rondi is an activist living in the south of France who has become an unexpected champion of accountability in mainstream media.
With a Substack dedicated to exposing journalistic failures and media bias, Liam has built a following around unflinching critiques of how British television weaponises rhetoric against marginalised communities.
After years of witnessing homophobia and transphobia become normalised on breakfast television, Liam decided to do something radical: he created a complaint generator, mobilised a community, and broke the Ofcom record for complaints against a single broadcast segment.
On this episode of The Pieces, Bimini and Liam dive into the formative moment that politicised him and how he was inspired by transphobia on TV to attempt to create accountability.
They talk about the pattern of demonisation of LGBTQ+ people in the media, the reality that transphobia opens the gates to homophobia, why collective action matters and how teamwork breaks records.

From Rage To Action: Fighting Against Homophobia In Media

    21/07/2026 | 12min
In this furious solo episode of The Pieces - recorded at 5:30 AM in Prague after a DJ set - Bimini channels rage into action. The night after London Pride, where over a million people marched through the streets in celebration, a presenter on TV news channel GB News looked into the camera and equated Pride with celebrating paedophilia, using the phrase "minor attracted people" to describe LGBTQ+ individuals.
Within days, the same rhetoric was repeated twice more on the same channel, with LGBT teachers being branded as "groomers of children".
Rather than tweeting angry threads that get deleted, Bimini did something radical... As of the episode's recording, over 26,000 people have visited Bimini's campaign page and over 8,000 have filed complaints.
This episode of The Pieces is about the recycled lies that get weaponised against LGBTQ+ communities year after year, the dangerous normalization of hate speech on mainstream television and why "freedom of speech" doesn't mean freedom from consequence.
Bimini refuses to let broadcasters hide behind platforms, guests and apologies that amount to nothing. They expose the insidious pattern: first they came for trans people, now they're coming for all of us.

Munroe Bergdorf on Joy As Rebellion, EHRC Guidelines & Pop Culture's Power

    07/07/2026 | 49min
Munroe Bergdorf is a model, activist, author and filmmaker who has become one of the most powerful and eloquent voices fighting for trans rights and community liberation.
From her ground-breaking memoir Transitional to her feature documentary Love & Rage (three years in the making with director Olivia Corsini) to her young adult handbook Talk to Me: How to Have Conversations That Matter, Munroe has carved out a legacy of radical honesty and uncompromising advocacy.
As a Black trans woman, she refuses to be palatable, refuses to shy away from conflict, and refuses to let anyone — not governments, not media, not society — define her existence or erase her community.
On this episode of The Pieces, recorded at Soho House during Pride Month, Bimini and Munroe dive into the formative power of pop culture and how it shaped her understanding of identity from childhood.
They discuss joy as rebellion in times of crisis, the dangerous EHRC guidance on trans rights, and why protecting trans and queer youth is a mission she holds dear.
The conversation touches on the gruelling three-year documentary process, the vulnerability of creating a memoir that spills your guts, and designing Talk to Me as a gift to younger generations on how to navigate difficult conversations around racism, homophobia, misogyny and conflict itself.

Samuel Douek on Sex Tech, Building Businesses & Fighting For Your Dream

    02/07/2026 | 35min
Samuel Douek is a director, filmmaker and sexual wellness entrepreneur who has become one of the most unapologetic voices in queer pleasure and sexual education.
Known for directing iconic music videos for Bimini and others, Samuel is also the founder of HOWL, a sex-positive lifestyle brand with CBD wellness products at its core. Beyond the camera and the business, Samuel is committed to building representation for LGBTQ+ entrepreneurs and proving that you can build a successful, intentional queer business that prioritises community, pleasure and liberation.
On this episode of The Pieces, Bimini and Samuel dive into tests of commitment (including some pretty crazy stories!), moments where you have to fight for your dreams and the decision to chose an unconventional path.
They explore Samuel's philosophy of only ever doing work he loves, why he's a terrible employee but incredible creator and the journey of building a film career from absolutely nothing.
The conversation also touches on building HOWL and why creating visible queer business representation matters, the challenge of navigating capitalism and queer underground culture and practical sex education that actually serves people.

A Pride Manifesto: You're Still Arriving (And That's the Point)

    23/06/2026 | 30min
On this episode of The Pieces, Bimini is celebrating pride but celebrating not just those who have it all figured out, but those standing at the edge of something, wondering "I think that might be me."
Bimini is alone in the studio unpacking one of the most liberating truths they've discovered: identity isn't a destination you arrive at and stay — it's something that keeps arriving, a collection of pieces that crack you open and reshape you across your lifetime.
This episode gets deeply personal about sexuality and the language we reach for when our assumptions about our own desires start to shift. Bimini explores two expanding terms from the FEELD dating app glossary — "bi curious" and "homoflexible" — as examples of how new language is creating room to breathe, leaving doors open instead of locking people into boxes.
They share their own experience of being handed the label of their sexuality at a young age, and how reclaiming the power to define yourself — rather than having definitions imposed on you — is an act of liberation.
Bimini also announces their new new music as an independent artist under their own label, Brain Riot Records, and they talk about their single "Tank Top Bum Boys".
