Rich and Ally's Craven Newsround Compilation - No Immediate Protocol

    19/09/2026 | 1h 17min
Wednesday 16th September 2026 - No Immediate Protocol - Rich and Ally discuss pottery, dead dogs and the impact of our mackerel report, before reporting on another story that the lamestream media won’t touch, an athlete pooing themselves during a contest. With a special report from Istanbul and lots of lovely songs. The BAFTA is in the bag. For news obvs.

Thursday 17th September 2026 - Fraternal Grief - Can Cloud Reason and Colour Memory - Rich and Ally bring you the news that you won’t have read about in the LSM- Earl Spencer’s accusation that the then Prince Charles said Lady Di would be quickly forgotten shortly after her death. As you’d expect we treat this subject with the utmost seriousness and respect, as it only right and proper. So eat you skad and enjoy it.

Friday 18th September 2026 - Disgusting Australians - It’s the last Newsround of the week and you’ve barely touched your skad. Rich and Ally cover the story of another Australian athlete who has been excreting bodily fluids every which way including loose. There are some serious allegations made about Herring’s sexual preferences, but nothing has been proven. Plus Richard forgets the name of his favourite author. It can't be long now..

David Quantick and Chris Barker on The Lost Films of Hollywood - Book Club

    18/09/2026 | 40min
RHLSTP Book Club #194 - The Lost Films of Hollywood - Rich has a remote chat with two men who have collaborated on an amazing book and art project yet never spoken to each other before, David Quantick and Chris Barker. They discuss where the idea to create a calendar and book imagining that famous movies were remakes, and showing the poster of the original came from, how it became an immediate kickstarter success story, getting the tone it all right, deciding to self-publish and why it’s such an appealing concept. Plus David talks about his new novel The Hyena (out in November).

I highly recommend you rush to buy remaining copies of Lost Films right now! You won’t regret it.

Penn Jillette and Piff the Magic Dragon - "Sponge Bunnies"

    16/09/2026 | 49min
RHLSTP #627 - Sponge Bunnies - Rich is back at the Podcast Room and his guests are two of the world’s top magicians Penn Jillette (sadly without Teller, although let’s say he was there, you’d never know the difference and Piff the Magic Dragon, currently in the UK with their urine soaked magic show, Piff and Pop’s Magic Shop. Penn, who said before that he wouldn’t be saying much, says a lot and gives us some great background on his reluctant appearance on Miami Vice, Piff performs some audio-described magic (whilst not doing magic) and Rich regrets not having a posse, Piff then does some real magic, though it’s Rich who is really doing it. Rich finally gets them to talk about their new show which has an impressive denouement and Piff explains why it was better not to win America’s Got Talent. They don’t even get time to talk about Piff cloning his dog for $60,000 or any of the other stuff Rich had ready to discuss, but it’s a surreal and wonderful 45 minutes of mayhem.

Jenny Eclair (Retro) - "Hi di Hi"

    14/09/2026 | 1h 10min
#446 Hi di Hi - Richard is doing more topical jokes that will be slightly out of date at time of broadcast but a valuable resource for the people of the future. His guest is comedian, author and potato hat wearer Jenny Eclair. They chat about the Bay City Rollers, the portrait of Les Gray, how cystitis ruined the bingo, the sexual allure of Greg Davies, childish comedians coping with the devastation of middle age, whether Richard will survive to have any life after his children have left home, their various ear complaints and how Jenny met her husband under a car. Not quite the topics of discussion when they shared a flat at the Fringe in the 1990s.

Rich and Ally's Craven Newsround Compilation - Monkey Glue

    12/09/2026 | 1h 37min
Tuesday 8th September - Monkey Glue - Rich and Ally get a visit from the politician who never listens, before looking into the blackheads of Dover and their multiple use balaclavas. Plus why the RNLI are the worst people in Britain.

Wednesday 9th September 2026 - Eleclution- Rich is in the news again (broadly speaking) but only on Newsround will you find out the real reasons. But the other less important news that no one would lead with is the 10% chance of the extermination of humanity. But don’t worry about that…

Thursday 10th September 2026 - Black Shorts - Rich and Ally are today looking at what it’s appropriate for politicians to offer the electorate if they win. It’s better than it sounds. But not much better.

Friday September 11th 2026 - Tinned Fish Aficionado - The Lame Stream Media is trying to bury today’s main news story beneath something that happened a quarter of a century ago and they don’t even have the right date. Rich and Ally are here to put that right. And by God they really go deep into this thing. Strap in. This is going to be as hard for you as it is for me. Welcome to all the Chris Moyles listeners. This is not a typical ep.
