The Home Office told BBC News his application had been refused because his presence "would not be conducive to the public good". In other news: President Trump has increased the pressure on Iran's leaders -- warning that a "whole civilisation will die" if Tehran doesn't agree to a deal to end the war. And the health secretary, Wes Streeting, has said a six-day doctors' strike, which began this morning, will leave some patients "waiting in pain or anxiety".
