It’s time for a jam-packed season finale! We start out with some classic linking-daggering shenanigans which sets the stage for an urgent plan. The mischief continues with some ashes switcher hijinks, courtesy of Elijah and Rebekah, to resurrect a familiar (and unpopular) face. But that character help’s guarantee another’s downfall! In the hullabaloo, a major weapon is “destroyed”, ashes pile up, and the Mikaelson siblings are at odds. Finally, we reflect on season 2 and start discussing what might be coming up in season 3…Remember to rate, review, and share, brothers!Follow us on Instagram and TikTok @doppelgangerspodcast!

TO S2E21 - Fire with Fire
With one more week to the finale, it appears Klaus has betrayed his family and fully sided with Dahlia. Meanwhile, Davina and Vincent work on getting the new Regent initiated. Freya, Elijah, and Rebekah are ready to put their plan into action, which works for a moment and only a moment. The wolves continue to run from Dahlia through the storm in the bayou, and Hayley and Jackson, as usual, struggle to be good Alphas. Mary finds away to warn the pack when magic is afoot, but the Crescents find themselves in an all too familiar position, and I’m not talking about hanging out in a junkyard! At the compound, people do eventually decide to check if the dagger did indeed keep Klaus down, and face the consequences when it doesn’t. Despite everyone trying to stop him,Klaus gets his revenge on many people: he pulls the Andi Star on Elijah, puts Rebekah and Marcel in a difficult situation that they may have overreacted to, and absolutely demolishes Hayley and Jackson. But Cami shares a plan that (of course) Klaus had ready, and sets us up for the finale!

TO S2E20 - City Beneath The Sea
Dahlia takes advantage of Klaus’s daggering to welcome him into her mind to show him her past with Esther and Freya, and offer a pretty enticing deal for him and Hope. In the bayou, the wolves have a funeral for Aiden, which encourages Hayley and Jackson to make the stupid decision to continue trying to run away with Hope. Vincent helps the Mikaelsons with multiple spells of varying importance, even as he attempts to leave the world of magic for good. Finally, the dagger gets taken out of Klaus at most 12 hours after it was put in.Remember to rate, review, and share, brothers!Follow us on Instagram and TikTok @doppelgangerspodcast!

TO S2E19 - When the Levee Breaks
As everyone struggles to decide how to deal with Dahlia’s looming deadline, Klaus retreats because he knows the only person he can trust is himself. Most people take this as a sign of Klaus unraveling, getting increasingly nervous about if he will protect Hope (even though that’s his ONE goal but ok). Hayley stays with Hope in the St James Infirmary, but when Dahlia stops by and shows the magic is not solid, we return to Jackson and Hayley’s dumb plan from last week, but at least it’s a little smarter this time. Davina, Rebekah, and even Marcel return to the idea that Klaus needs to be put down, and actually have to tool to do it. Meanwhile Josh and Aiden are in love! Oh wait why are we hearing that creepy music and the talk of leaving town, uh oh. Finally we end with a big decision that we make it quite clear we do NOT agree with!Remember to rate, review, and share, brothers!Follow us in Instagram and TikTok @doppelgangerspodcast!

TO S2E18 - Night Has A Thousand Eyes
Dahlia has finally arrived in New Orleans, and she makes her presence known by possessing multiple civilians and giving a taste of her power in a fight at St Anne’s. Dahlia’s arrival prompts Elijah to have Josephine create a safe house at St James Infirmary for Hayley and Hope. Meanwhile, it encourages Jackson to come up with a stupid plan, which he loops Hayley into. Luckily, double agent Aiden was able to sabotage it quite easily. Meanwhile, Klaus teams up with his former opps Mikael and Davina to hijack Freya’s tools for a weapon to kill Dahlia (which Dahlia promptly destroys). But Klaus comes up with a smart backup plan which also accomplishes one of his longtime goals….Remember to rate, review, and share, brothers!Follow us on Instagram and TikTok @doppelgangerspodcast!
