After the recent deaths it’s time not only for multiple funerals, but also to check in on the prophecy that is the Mikaelsons hope has been stopped. Of course, that is not how prophecies work. Meanwhile, Klaus attempts to mend the relationship with Marcel, which goes quite well until someone buts in. Vincent and Kol spend the day in the ancestral plane to take care of the problem that is the New Orleans ancestors. After a deadly confrontation, alliances and power shifts, but one couple finally comes together...

This week, we catch up with Kol after he (reminder) killed Davina last week! Luckily, she is a witch in New Orleans, so she should be easy enough to bring back. Well, she would be … but she’s made enemies of the ancestors and Freya needs ancestor magic to kill Lucien, who cements himself as a major threat by locating Rebekah’s body. Lucien has his Black Swan moment, wishy-washy-ness catches up to Van, and Kara finally gets revenge on Davina using what seems to be a Beats Pill speaker. Lastly, Marcel is offered a very tempting advantage by an angry Vincent.

Yes Cami has been bitten, but hey there’s always a loophole so this should be light work! The whole team disperse to get answers, Davina to Rousseau’s where Lucien is partying, Vincent and Marcel to Cami’s apartment to collect a potential cure, and Hayley and Elijah to the bayou to fetch the magical baby. Freya works with her herbs to help Cami while Klaus gives er a lovely dream day, not loving the omen there! After Kol failed to leave town he decides to take drastic measures, but fails spectacularly. With Cami’s fate decided by the end of the episode, we should be done with drama, and yet we face another tough blow…
