  Bitesize discussion of effective use of teaching assistants. Using research from MITA report we discuss how to make the most of TA support in secondary schools. Discussion with Natalie Matthews, London Teaching Assistant of the Year 2021. Natalie Matthews is Teaching and Learning Lead at La Sainte Union School and has worked in the SEND Department circa 7 years. She has taken part in the Camden Teaching Assistant Hub and has delivered whole school INSET and new staff training on the role of the TA. Natalie is also the Access Arrangements Lead after gaining her Level 7 Certificate in Psychometric Testing, Assessment and Access Arrangements in 2019.
