Ned Boulting is a British journalist, author, presenter and commentator. His voice has been heard on UK TV covering the Tour de France since 2003, his first foray into the sport. As he reveals to Bobby and Jens, the sport hooked him, and since then he's been on a mission to tell it's stories to the world. Since 2018 he's been creating a record of those events in the form of the Road Book. A mighty tome that tells the tale of a season with every race result, articles from top cycling journalists and the pros themselves. In this episode Ned reveals the process of the road book's annual creation, shares his favourite stories from the roadside and why he became obsessed with an edition of the Tour from over 100 years ago. • Harry Tanfield: How to start a cycling team
Just over a week ago, Harry Tanfield was preparing for the 2025 season like most professional riders have been doing. Any thoughts of training camps and offseason rest were cancelled however, when his team Saint Piran announced their sudden closure. Saint Piran were one of two British UCI Continental teams competing in 2024, the other, Trinity Racing, had announced the closure of it's road offering the week prior. This left Harry, and British cycling in a dire situation. Below world tour level Ineos Grenadiers, the UK no longer had a single professional outfit. Harry joins the Odd Tandem to share his plan to build a brand new team, from the ground up on the tightest of deadlines. We investigate the challenge in front of Harry and take stock of the domestic scene in the USA and Germany in the process. This is a must listen for anyone who's ever wondered how a cycling team is formed. • Live at El Tour de Tucson: How to win an Olympic medal with Chloe Dygert and Nelson Vails
Bobby and Jens return to the El Tour de Tucson and host a special episode looking back at 40 years of Olympic history. In 2024, Chloe Dygert earned her second Olympic gold medal on the boards in Paris - as a key part of the US team pursuit squad.
