Alec and Dani were once best friends but after Dani moved away they became basically strangers. Fast forward years later, and Dani is back in Minnesota and Alec is the school's most valuable hockey player. The two friends turned foes quickly turn into a fake relationship but both get more than they signed up for as real feeling quickly start to develop.

But now that all this time has passed Wes is ready to give things another shot he just has to do the work to convince Liz that this time will be nothing like the last time.
