On Various Things

This is a month to work with our fear of the dark.
August arrives in the peak of Leo season, full of brightness and expansion - but the real invitation this month is to turn toward what dark parts of self are illuminated in all this light.
In this forecast, I tune into the energy of the upcoming month and walk through how to work with what may be presenting - how spot the patterns and behaviors we've denied in ourselves, how to use our judgments as a clue to where our own growth lies: what we can't stand in others is often a quieter, subtler version of something in the self not being faced.
This isn't about punishing ourselves for our unfavorable behaviors, it is about witnessing them to clear space for greater personal power waiting to be reclaimed.

As always, insights are then offered on how this energy may present for our three core areas of life - our vocation, our health, and our relationships.

Your intuition is not complicated. We just need to learn how it to hear it - beyond our fear, beyond our conditioned, rational mind.
This episode closes out July - a month that was centered around listening - with a response to a question I received on repeat in varying forms;
"How do I know if it's my intuition or my [anxiety/fear/conditioning/past patterns/etc.]?"

Here I share the same response I offer each time this question arises. It's one of those answers that is simple, and yet not always so easy. With that in mind, the episode also includes a short exercise to help you move past your fears, and past your rational mind, to tune into your higher guidance (one perhaps worth saving to come back to when you need it!).
