The Deep Track, Ep. 96 - Strange & Unexpected Complications with Justin Couture

    13/03/2026 | 1h 2min
    Send a text
This week, Justin Couture, aka The Wristorian returns to the podcast to discuss odd, unusual, or otherwise niche complications and features. The review of the TAG Heuer Carrera Chronograph Seafarer, and its tide indication sub dial inspired us to think about some other outside-of-the-box complications and features, from the often discussed HEV, to more obscure ideas, like a hand-cranking Seiko, or a Sicura with a pocket knife hiding in the case. We explore the world of weird complications new and old, and talk a little bit about what we’d like to see from Tudor at Watches & Wonders.

The Deep Track, Ep. 94 - What's Up with Zenith, Jean-Claude Killy, and a New COSC Standard

    19/02/2026 | 27min
    Send a text
This week is a solo episode discussing topics ranging from the Breitling / Aston Martin partnership, to a new COSC chronometry standard set to go into effect this year. A recent review of the Zenith Chronomaster Original Triple Calendar Lapis Lazuli has me thinking about the bigger picture with Zenith, and it also reminds me a bit of another famous reference from Rolex, the 6236 Dato Compax, aka the Jean-Claude Killy, which is rather timely given the winter games currently taking place. All this and more broken down in this episode.
