Season 16, Episode 100 of The Terrible Podcast is now in the can. In this Monday morning show, Alex Kozora and I get right into discussing the Pittsburgh Steelers being poised to part ways with T Calvin Anderson by the start of the 2026 NFL year. We discuss the cap savings related to Anderson being released and why such a decision is likely to be made now with him.
A Monday morning report indicated that Steelers T Broderick Jones needed neck fusion surgery following his 2025 injury, so Alex and I discuss that news update. We also address the upcoming fifth-year option decision the Steelers have when it comes to Jones, and we go over the amount that 2027 is now scheduled to cost.
With Anderson being cut and Jones dealing with a neck issue, Alex and I address the probability and plausibility related to the Steelers addressing the tackle position in either free agency, the draft, or both.
