Season 16, Episode 114 of The Terrible Podcast is now in the can. In this Wednesday morning show, Alex Kozora and I get right into discussing the several things that Pittsburgh Steelers HC Mike McCarthy and team president Art Rooney II both said in recent interviews while the two were in Arizona for the NFL's annual league meetings. We first discuss whether Rooney II indeed now has a firm deadline for a decision by QB Aaron Rodgers. We also discuss what McCarthy has said recently about his conversations with Rodgers.

McCarthy talked more about Steelers QB Will Howard the last few days, so we go over those quates. We also discuss McCarthy talking more about the kind of wide receiver he might be looking for in this year's draft. As part of that wide receiver discussion, Alex and I look back at some measurables from that position group that McCarthy has previously drafted while he was the head coach of the Green Bay Packers and Dallas Cowboys. We compare those measurable averages to several top wide receivers in this year's draft class.

Will McCarthy, Khan, or both show up at the Indiana pro day on Wednesday? We discuss that question in addition to what McCarthy said recently about only attending one pro day so far even though he had planned to make six of them this offseason.

After wrapping up all the things that McCarthy and Rooney have recently said, Alex and I discuss the probability of the Steelers selecting a quarterback in this year's draft. We look at what McCarthy seems to be looking for as far as quarterback measurables and how former Arkansas QB Taylen Green fits those. Green, by the way, is reportedly scheduled to come to Pittsburgh for a pre-drafty visit.

The Steelers are also reportedly bringing in former Memphis OT Travis Burke for a pre-draft visit, so Alex and I discuss what we know about him and how he might be a day-three selection candidate for the team later this month.

Alex recently spotted several key members from the Steelers at the Tennessee pro day so on the heels of those sightings, we discuss the two top cornerbacks from that school and the possibility of the Steelers selecting one of them in the first round later this month.

Would the Steelers really consider selecting former Oregon TE Kenyon Sadiq in the first round of the 2026 NFL Draft? We address that question thanks to recent comments made in an online chat by Gerry Dulac of the Pittsburgh Post-Gazette.

Season 16, Episode 113 of The Terrible Podcast is now in the can. In this Monday morning show, Alex Kozora and I get right into discussing the start of the NFL league meetings in Arizona this week and how we're expected to hear from Pittsburgh Steelers HC Mike McCarthy a few times during the next two days.

Alex and I come up with a few questions that we think McCarthy should be asked while he's in Arizona with most of those being focused on his pro day process these last several weeks.

Steelers president Art Rooney II recently made some comments about a potential decision timeline for QB Aaron Rodgers, so we make sure to recap that topic. We also discuss what Steelers former QB Charlie Batch had to say about the contract value for Rodgers. Alex and I discuss where Rodgers should be slotted with his 2026 contract value should he ultimately re-sign with the Steelers.

ESPN has a new mock draft out on Monday morning and it includes 12 selections for the Steelers. We discuss all of those picks and especially the first five and whether we like them.

Former Indiana WR Omar Cooper Jr. seemingly remains a first-round draft prospect for the Steelers and because of that, Alex and I discuss some potential stats for him through his first four NFL seasons. We once again address whether Cooper is indeed worthy of a first-round selection, or if he might be in play for the Steelers in the second-round after trading up.

Later in this show, Alex recaps his post on yards per route run when it comes to several wide receivers in the 2026 draft class. We also discuss how wide receivers should be graded and if weaknesses of each player should be highlighted.

Much later in this show, Alex and I quickly recap what Minnesota Vikings HC Kevin O'Connell had to say about new Steelers OC Brian Angelichio on Monday morning as part of him being interviewed during the annual NFC coaches’ breakfast in Arizona.
