NYC Mayor Zohran Mamdani says that an Abdul El-Sayed victory in Michigan would be important to New Yorkers because it would establish a new kind of politics in Washington that centers around working people.
The Republican party continues their effort to tie El-Sayed to the Muslim Brotherhood. It's worth noting that the Muslim Brotherhood is non-violent organization and even still El-Sayed has no connection to the group.
Meanwhile, El-Sayed's opponent Mike Rogers went on Brian Kilmeade's radio program to say that we need to protect those who flew on Jeffrey Epstein's plane but didn't participate in that "other stuff".
Dave Regan, president of SEIU-Untied Healthcare Workers West, joins to discuss California's Prop 40 which imposes a one-time 5% tax on billionaires.
