Joe missed this one, but we're talking about the wind down from the min-Sanderlanche that starts this book off. What seemed like a totally successful pair of missions brings a variety of consequences in the aftermath, and not just for our friends in Urithiru.

Kaladin and Moash come face-to-face again for the first time in a long while. It's bad. Beyond that, there's some good stuff in here. Kaladin takes down the new Fused because he's kind of a windbag. There's even a bit of Lift, which is generally fun. Still ... Moash.

The beginning of this book continues to move at a breakneck pace as Kaladin gets two separate epic battle scenes, and Navani's new creation descends from the heavens. At the same time concerns are raised regarding Shallan's ongoing stability and the sudden, unwelcome reappearance of a former Bridge 4 comrade.

Well, here we go. It's time for the next Richard the Thick Book to hit our tables. Rhythm of War begins with some big revelations as to the character of Gavilar Kholin, and our crew has thoughts.

On the Sanderlanche Podcast we've been reading Brandon Sanderon's books for the first time and talking about them, in detail, a few chapters at a time.
