Today's 94 WIP Midday Show discussed the current state of the Eagles offensive coordinator search and asked if Jalen Hurts should have any sort of say in who the team hires. The Eagles completed an interview of Bobby Slowik on Friday. The Sixers won an exciting game on Thursday against the Rockets and are really starting to gain fan momentum. The Broncos and Patriots are trash talking before the AFC Championship Game. Jack Fritz joins the show for a wellness check. In hour 1, the 94 WIP Midday Show begged the question of if Jalen Hurts should sit in on meetings with potential offensive coordinator candidates. Joe Giglio thinks that he should because it could be a good look for Hurts and it could eliminate any uncertainty about only doing things the way that he wants them done. Hugh Douglas fears that if he does have a say, it could create friction with other star players like Saquon Barkley, Lane Johnson, and others. Mike McDaniel interviewing for the Bills head coach vacancy has completely killed the idea that he only wants to coach in warm weather. It is clear that he simply did not want to coach here in Philadelphia.

In hour 2, the 94 WIP Midday Show react to a huge Sixers win against the Rockets last night. They have been impressive this season thanks to the immediate impact of rookie V.J. Edgecombe. Joel Embiid has also looked very good and it is making fans excited. Hugh Douglas says that people should start paying more attention to them. Part of the reason why this season has been fun for fans is because the expectations were low. The guys would not trade V.J. Edgecombe for Giannis Antetokounmpo.
