There’s a new Scream flick in theaters right now, and while that film is what most of the fans are talking about, we’re throwing it back to 2011 to dissect the very mid Scream 4. Released over a decade after the original three films, this one suffers from an identity crisis and fails to justify its existence in the overstuffed remake/reboot crowd of the time. Does this movie have anything to say about the then-current state of horror? We’ll let you know as we discuss the film, plus our twist on a Punk’d revival, David Arquette’s strange puppet bar, and Dustin’s inability to physically see any woman who isn’t his wife (“lady blindness”). All of that and a lot more with returning guest Ashley Simmons.

Guillermo del Toro had been waiting to make his version of Frankenstein for a long time, and in 2025 we finally got to see what he can do with the classic story. It turned out to be a 9-Oscar nominations worthy endeavor. Some interesting spins on the beloved novel await those curious enough to see what Jacob Elordi can do as The Monster, so put on your finest ascot and pour a tall glass of white (milk) as we dissect this one. It had been 18 years since the last entry in the 28 (or 28 x Later…) franchise, but Danny Boyle and Alex Garland’s return could not have been more welcomed. While 28 Years Later was incredibly divisive (especially due to that ending), no one could argue that this entry into this infected (read: zombie) property wasn’t unique and refreshing. We love this one and hope you do too. So hold onto your head (and spine) as we tear into this one as well as discuss decrepit punk houses, the nicest thing Mallie’s ever said, Larry the Cable Guy’s only good joke, and, of course, those Alpha dongs.

Remember 2007’s Next? No? Don’t worry – you’re not alone. This Nic Cage vehicle is one of his more forgotten outputs from the past 20 years and for good reason. A plot that truly doesn’t make any sense is only outweighed by apathetic performances and even lazier direction.
