Ep 449: Monthly Q&A: AP x Swatch, Grand Seiko, and Condiment Corner

    13/05/2026 | 54min
This week on the Worn & Wound podcast, Zach Kazan is joined by Garrett Jones for our monthly Q&A episode. Questions this month cover topics like Grand Seiko’s release strategy, the best straps for summer, and, of course, condiments (we’re about the trademark “Condiment Corner” for use on this podcast). We also got a lot of questions on the new watches from Swatch and Audemars Piguet, which at the time of this recording were not yet announced. Literally minutes after hitting “stop” on the recording, the press release came through, and all was revealed. So you’ll hear a lot of speculation on this podcast about a watch that by the time you hear the episode will have been largely digested by the watch community, but hopefully listeners enjoy seeing how wrong (and how right!) we were in some of our thoughts on what might come from these very different brands.

Ep 448: Recapping the San Francisco Windup Watch Fair

    06/05/2026 | 46min
This week on the Worn & Wound podcast, the team is back from San Francisco, and yet another great edition of the Windup Watch Fair. Zach Kazan and Kat Shoulders are on the mic to recap the fair via a series of rapid fire questions covering their favorite versions of the new Christopher Ward Sealander (there are a bunch), to their favorite brands making Windup debuts, and even their favorite dining experiences in what is one of the country’s great food cities. There’s a lot to talk about, but we also want to hear from you. If you made it to San Francisco this weekend and attended the fair, what caught your eye? Let us know in the comments.

    Time on Screen: Zodiac

    30/04/2026 | 55min
This week, the Time on Screen podcast returns! Ahead of the Windup Watch Fair in San Francisco, we’re talking about Zodiac, one of the great San Francisco movies and a favorite movie by David Fincer, one of our favorite filmmakers. Zach Kazan welcomes Kat Shoulders to the conversation, and they both have a deep appreciation for this film and have a lot to say about it. They run through some of their favorite scenes, a little production history, and discuss where this film sits in the San Francisco movie canon and David Fincher’s filmography.

    22/04/2026 | 1h 17min
Our team is back from Switzerland, and this week on the podcast Zach Kazan, Zach Weiss, and Kat Shoulders are recapping their time at Watches & Wonders. It was a busy week, filled with meetings, watches, lots of coffee, and very little sleep.

This conversation covers several brands the team met with, including Tudor, Grand Seiko, Rolex, and more. They also discuss some brands that made their Watches & Wonders debut in 2026, as well as many of the ancillary shows to Watches & Wonders – there are more than ever!

Let us know in the comments what you thought of this year’s releases: favorites, disappointments, and questions you’d like answered.
