Nikki shares why her return to competitive play helped her realize she’s happiest embracing the casual side of Lorcana, which leads the Muses into a bigger conversation about finding balance, setting your own goals, and remembering that there’s no wrong way to enjoy the game.

 The Disney Lorcana meta is moving fast, and honestly… we kind of love it.
This week, Nikki, Lesley, and Brittany are joined by Team Muses teammate Bryce to talk about life after rotation, the constantly changing competitive landscape, and a pretty incredible weekend for Team Muses: three Set Championship wins with three completely different decks.
Brittany breaks down what it was like to win a Set Championship with an Amethyst Steel list she had never played before that morning, while Bryce shares his run to a championship win on Amber Amethyst. We also look back at the LCQ and North American Championships, what all that testing taught the team, and why understanding your opponent’s deck may be just as important as knowing your own.
Plus, we talk competitive flexibility, the Arizona Lorcana community, Coconut, Nationals memories, and why sometimes the best thing you can do is stop trying to predict the meta and just play some Lorcana.

We made it to 100 episodes, and there was no better way to celebrate than live from the Disneyland Resort during NA Championship weekend!
Brittany, Lesley, and Nikki are joined by Team Muses teammate Chris fresh off an incredible 6–0 LCQ run that earned him a spot in Nationals. We talk about his last-minute deck decisions, the wild variety of the LCQ meta, our experiences from the weekend, and what makes competitive Lorcana so much fun.
Then we celebrate 100 episodes the only way we know how: opening packs, answering questions from our live audience, dreaming about the Disney IPs we still want to see in Lorcana, and looking back at what this game and this community have meant to all of us.
Most importantly, we talk about where The Lorcana Muses goes from here: continuing to create a welcoming space, supporting our community, having fun with the game, and seeing what the next 100 episodes bring.
