It’s time to kick off the NASCAR Chase, and who better to get us ready than our resident NASCAR reporters Jeff Gluck and Jordan Bianchi. They sit down with each of the 16 Chase contenders ahead of this weekend’s Southern 500 and get the low down on each drivers’ feelings towards the new (old) format and what differing strategies they’ll follow over the next ten weeks. Listeners are in store to learn a lot, from how many points each driver is aiming to average to what tracks are considered the biggest wildcards. They’ll also get some off track information, such as what Austin Cindric thinks of Jordan’s pen, Ryan Blaney’s baby buggy report and which restaurant Daniel Suarez thinks has surprisingly good tres leches cake.

Ryan Preece needed to win at Daytona to make the Chase and he did exactly that. When calamity unfolded in overtime, Ryan took the lead and held on until the caution finally fell, capturing his first NASCAR Cup victory and besting Shane Van Gisbergen for the final Chase spot all at the same time. Our resident NASCAR reporters Jeff Gluck and Jordan Bianchi were both on the case in Daytona, and they took to the airwaves after the race to recap the action, chat about dunk tanks and take a closer look at the final Chase standings.

It's been a major news cycle in motorsports this week as IndyCar broke the internet with a massive ratings return for their Washington D.C. Grand Prix and Richard Childress Racing announced its 2027 roster. While the rest of us were heading home from Richmond or going to sleep on Saturday night, Kyle Larson was aboard an airplane heading to Iowa for the biggest sprint car race of the year: the Knoxville Nationals. He'd complete the miraculous double by leading all 50 laps of the crown jewel dirt race,  capturing his fourth career title in the esteemed event. Motorsports reporter Jeff Gluck invites Kyle to the Gluckcast this week to chat about his Saturday night and his sprint car career as a whole. Jeff also sits down with fellow reporter Bob Pockrass ahead of the Freedom 250 IndyCar event on the streets of Washington D.C. Finally, Jeff chats with Front Row Motorsports General Manager Jerry Freeze about the recent contract extension for Noah Gragson, their developing Cup roster and future of their Truck program.
