Kim shares her experiences growing up in a religious family, navigating beliefs and gender normative expectations, and how she found her own path towards self-acceptance and liberation.    She discusses the importance of unlearning shame and embracing one's queerness, as well as the role of allies in supporting and advocating for LGBTQ+ individuals. Kim also talks about her book, 'Badass Bonita: Break the Silence, Become a Revolution,' which combines memoir, self-help, and education to empower Latines in their healing journeys.
