In this episode, we move beyond the headlines to place the Israel–Palestine conflict within its broader historical and geopolitical context, exploring how memory, identity, and international politics have shaped its trajectory since the mid-20th century. We examine Germany’s relationship with Israel, the role of global powers, and how competing narratives—including Iran’s—continue to influence the region. Finally, we look ahead at the key forces likely to shape the Middle East in the years to come.
