Welcome to DNA of NOV. In our latest podcast series, we'll be telling the stories of teams around the globe who are pushing the boundaries of the energy industry everyday. Episode 1 will be available wherever you listen on September 12th.

Picking up from our last episode, NOV's Stephen Forrester and Katy Weintritt take a tour of the world's largest mobile land drilling rig, the Doyon 26, and learn about all of the features and insights that went into the rig known, appropriately, as "The Beast."

While there are lots of mobile land drilling rigs, the Doyon 26 is the largest ever built. With 10.2 million pounds of steel and equipment for the entire rig and enough power generation to light a small town, this piece of technology is a sight to behold. To learn more about this rig, NOV Today sent Stephen Forrester and Katy Weintritt to Edmonton, Canada to talk to some of the people who made it all come together.
